Bihar has issued a notification for recruitment to 4,654 positions, including junior engineers, work inspectors, dental hygienists, and hostel managers.

Good news for the youth of Bihar. After the BSSC and BPSC, the Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) has also announced job opportunities. The commission has announced bumper recruitment for the positions of work inspector, hostel manager, dental hygienist, and junior engineer in four major sectors. A total of 4,654 positions will be filled in this recruitment process. The application process will begin on October 10, 2025, and will continue until November 10, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the BTSC's official website, btsc.bihar.gov.in.

The largest number of positions is for junior engineers. A total of 2,747 positions will be filled in this category. Additionally, 1,114 positions for Work Inspectors, 702 for Dental Hygienists, and 91 for Hostel Managers have been announced.

Junior Engineer positions include civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. 2,591 positions are allocated for civil engineering, 86 for electrical engineering, and 70 for mechanical engineering.

Hostel Manager recruitment will be conducted for schools and hostels operating in the Jananayak Karpuri Thakur Hostel and the Other Backward Classes Welfare Hostel. Candidates must have a B.Sc. (Hospitality and Hotel Administration) or a graduate/postgraduate diploma in hotel management. The age limit is 21 to 37 years, and the pay scale will be at Level 4 of the Seventh Pay Commission.

For recruitment to the position of Work Inspector, candidates must have passed matriculation and a certificate in the draftsman, civil, surveyor, or plumber trade from a recognized ITI institute. The age limit is 18 to 37 years.

For the position of Dental Hygienist, candidates must have passed 10+2 (with Biology as a subject) and have a 2-year Diploma in Dental Hygienist from a recognized institution. Candidates must also be registered with the Bihar State Dental Council. The age limit is 18 to 37 years, and the pay scale is ₹5200-20200 + Grade Pay ₹2400.

The application fee varies for different categories. ₹500 is fixed for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and ₹250 for SC/ST candidates.

The application process will be completely online. Candidates will register for a new position by visiting the official BTSC website. After logging in, they will fill in all the required details and upload the required documents. The application fee must be paid online, and a printout must be preserved after submitting the application.
