Dabangg’s director Abhinav Kashyap has been on a Salman Khan-bashing rampage for years now. In a series of interviews, the filmmaker has alleged that during the making of Dabangg, he was subjected to constant harassment and pressure.
According to him, the Khan family wanted nothing more than a “slave director” who would blindly follow their instructions rather than bring his own creative vision to the film.

In an interview, Abhibav Kashyap said, “Differences happened when they came after me, they harassed me, that’s why I stepped away. Salman’s family wanted a slave kind of a director and they wanted to leverage my creativity, steal credit and make money. I noticed that in part one only, so I know the same thing will happen with the sequel – no respect, no fame, no money, no credit.”
Abhinav Kashyap Praises Salman KhanAn old video has resurfaced on the internet where Abhinav Kashyap was spotted praising Salman Khan.
In an old interview with Faridoon, Abhinav Kashyap said, “Arbaaz never intended to oblige me and he took care of me, and I am very happy. People expect me to do Dabangg 2 and Arbaaz also asked me to do the film, but I need to do different work.”
Abhinav also credited Salman Khan for some famous dialogues of Dabangg.

And now saying completely cheap, crass & gutter-like stuff.
Any professional interviewer would have countered him 50 times on basic facts check.
Another user reacted, “Nothing! He just want the limelight. If something happens to him people will doubt on Salman khan only. So he is just saying it. Let him saying whatever he thinks. Nothing can happen. Please take the popcorn.”

Abhinav Kashyap made a smashing debut with Dabangg, which turned out to be a blockbuster and introduced audiences to the iconic Chulbul Pandey.
However, despite the film’s massive success, he did not return for its second and third instalments. Instead, Kashyap moved on to his next project, Besharam, starring Ranbir Kapoor alongside Pallavi Sharda.
Unfortunately, the film failed to click with both critics and audiences, flopping at the box office. Since then, Besharam has been his last outing as a director, leaving many to wonder about his abrupt disappearance from mainstream cinema.
