Who says style and power belong only to the young? A 74-year-old woman from Kerala is winning the internet after she was spotted driving a white Rolls-Royce Ghost in Dubai, dressed in a traditional saree and oozing confidence. Affectionately called “Driver Amma,” Radhamani isn’t just any grandmother — she’s a licensed driver across 11 different vehicle categories, making her one of the most versatile motorists you’ll ever come across.

The viral clip begins with Radhamani proudly displaying her International Driving Permit (IDP), a UN-recognised document required to legally drive in several countries. Moments later, she slides behind the wheel of the luxury Rolls-Royce and takes it for a spin with effortless elegance. Sharing the video on Instagram, she even reminded viewers about the importance of holding an IDP when driving abroad, calling it a safeguard for convenience and safety.

Internet reacts
Social media users were quick to shower the video with love and humour. Many praised her style and confidence, saying she carried the true “vibe.” Others joked in Malayalam, asking someone to hand her a pair of cool sunglasses to match her swag. One user even laughed at their own situation, pointing out that at 29 they still don’t have a driving license while this grandmother is cruising in a Rolls-Royce.

Who is Driver Amma?
But Radhamani’s skills go far beyond luxury cars. Hailing from Kochi, she has earned licences for everything from cars and SUVs to buses, cranes, excavators, forklifts, tractors, container trailer trucks, and even a road roller, according to Cartoq. Back in 1988, she secured her truck license and later added the permit to transport hazardous goods. The reason behind this impressive collection of licences is simple: Radhamani runs a driving school, and for instructors or proprietors, it is mandatory to hold permits for every category of vehicle they teach.
