Sameer Wankhede, former zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai, on Monday filed a defamation suit in the Delhi High Court against Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, along with streaming platform Netflix and others.
Wankhede alleges that the series “Ba***ds of Bollywood” presents false and malicious content intended to tarnish his reputation. The plea seeks legal action against the producers and distributors of the show, arguing that the portrayal damages his professional and personal standing.
