For many of us, cleaning the oven is one of those household chores that we put off for as long as possible.
Over time, food debris, dirt and grime can build up on the glass door and inside the oven itself, which can be really tough to shift even with specific cleaning products. Because of this, tackling this challenging task should be done regularly, before the build-up becomes too difficult to handle.
But if you're currently dealing with a big mess, one cleaning guru on TikTok has a very simple solution.

Even better, it only requires two common household ingredients you probably already have at home, and there's no 'heavy scrubbing' involved either, reports the Express.

The easy hack was shared by Australian lifestyle influencer Chantel Mila, who is well-known for helping her followers with their cleaning issues by posting straightforward home organisation tips.
She says that deep cleaning your oven doesn't have to be a difficult and time-consuming task, thanks to a simple mixture made with two affordable ingredients.
In one of her viral videos, she pointed out that all you need to do is mix one-third of a cup of washing-up liquid with one cup of baking soda and give it a good stir to combine the two.
Then, apply the mixture all over your oven glass, and simply leave it to soak in for around half an hour.
According to Chantel, this mixture helps to break down any stubborn grease, which is all too common when it comes to ovens.
Then, once the time is up, simply grab a sponge and gently rub the mixture in using circular motions to get even more of the dirt out. If you're dealing with burnt-on marks and stains, you can use a squeegee to scrape these off.
She pointed out that this method also works inside your oven too, demonstrating the same process for the interior. Beforehand, her oven was covered in stains and spills, but after cleaning the mixture off, it was gleaming and looked as good as new.
In the video's caption, she explained: "Make your oven sparkle (without heavy scrubbing or harsh fumes!) This mix has been my go-to for years - it's amazing at melting through tough grease!"
