It's good news for chocolate lovers as Lindt has announced a brand new flavour of their Lindor balls - and they might be the best one yet. With flavours such as pistachio and tiramisu hitting the shelves, the latest Lindor is the "irresistibly smooth" Shortbread Truffle.
Perfect for UK sweet treat lovers, it's an edible emblem of British delicacy with the shortbread addition - making them perfect with a cup of tea.
The chocolate with a buttery twist is the latest to join the mouthwatering range of the iconic truffles. The milk chocolate shell is packed with shortbread pieces and a smooth, melting milk chocolate filling, delicately infused with shortbread aroma.

With shortbread biscuits serving as a household favourite for centuries, it’s no surprise that eagle-eyed shoppers have been taking to social media to express their excitement around the launch. There’s even an extra helping of milk chocolate filling in the middle, and an added layer of ‘shortbread aroma.’

We love creating new and unique flavours with our iconic Swiss Chocolate!”
For those eager to try, they are stocked in all Lindt stores, and available exclusively on supermarket shelves at Tesco, where they’re priced at £7.50. However you'll have to be quick as they're a limited-edition flavour is only available until the end of 2025 - but they would definitely make the perfect stocking filler.
It comes as Lindt & Sprüngli opening its flagship central London store on March 21, promising a "paradise" for those with a sweet tooth. The new chocolate haven boasts the largest selection of Lindt truffles in the UK, with ceilings draped in copper mesh cocoa pods. A stunning window display featuring the London skyline crafted entirely from Lindor truffles will greet visitors at the Piccadilly Circus location.
Inside, three classically trained "master chocolatiers" will whip up fresh chocolate delights right before your eyes. A chocolate barista will be on hand serving specialty coffee, hot chocolates, milkshakes, and ice cream made live at an in-store chocolate bar. Celebrating its 180th anniversary, the luxury Swiss chocolate maker is offering the first 200 customers who spend £10 or more a chocolate-filled gift bag.
