In the 17th match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 held in Visakhapatnam, Alyssa Healy played a spectacular innings, scoring an unbeaten 113 off just 77 balls to guide Australia to a dominant 10-wicket victory over Bangladesh. This remarkable knock marked her second consecutive century of the tournament, cementing her status as the highest-scoring Australian batsman in Women’s World Cup history with four centuries, surpassing legends Karen Rolton and Meg Lanning.

Batting first, Bangladesh managed to post 198 runs for 9 wickets in their 50 overs, with Sobhana Mostari top-scoring at 66 not out. Despite some early promising contributions from Rubya Haider (44 runs), Bangladesh’s batting collapsed under steady pressure from Australia’s disciplined bowling attack, which included notable performances from Alana King and others.

In the run chase, Australia’s opening pair of Alyssa Healy and Phoebe Litchfield put on an unbroken partnership of 202 runs in just 24.5 overs. Litchfield also contributed a strong 84 not out, helping Australia cruise to the target without losing a wicket. Healy’s striking 20 boundaries and Litchfield’s 12 fours and a six illustrated their command over the innings.

With this victory, Australia secured an early spot in the semi-finals and continued to showcase their dominance in the tournament. Healy's back-to-back hundreds are a testament to her incredible form and skill at the world’s biggest stage for women's cricket.
