Bollywood actress Tripti Dimri gained widespread recognition with the 2023 blockbuster ‘Animal’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna. While the film was a massive commercial success, grossing over ₹915 crore worldwide, Tripti faced intense personal challenges during and after filming.

Intimate Scenes and Public Backlash

In Animal, Tripti played Zoya Riaz, the girlfriend of Ranbir Kapoor’s character, while Rashmika Mandanna played his wife, Geetanjali. The film featured intense intimate scenes between Ranbir and Tripti, which generated massive attention.

Despite the film’s success and critical praise for performances, Tripti revealed that she struggled emotionally after the backlash. In an interview, she said, "I used to cry a lot. I was completely distraught by what people were writing. Some of the comments were extremely vulgar." She often locked herself in her room and cried, deeply affected by the criticism.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal had a production budget of around ₹100 crore but went on to become one of Bollywood’s all-time blockbusters, earning over nine times its budget. The film’s performances, action sequences, and emotional drama were widely praised, making it a massive hit.
