Emmerdale fans work out 'Robron's' future after explosive clash

Fans of long running ITV soap Emmerdale believe they have "figured out" how things will play out between Robert Sugden (played by Ryan Hawley) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), affectionately known as Robron, now that Robert's husband Kevin Townsend (Chris Coghill) has arrived in the village. The recently released hard man has been intimidating Aaron and is clearly posessive of his husband and fans believe it could lead to his grisly end as he continued to rub their relationship into Aaron's nose.

"I'd like to see you try Kev... give it your best shot and see what happens. Aaron and his Dingle clan has taken on harder men than you!" one exclaimed after Kevin threatened to kill Aaron. "Aaron woke up today and chose violence," another predicted. A third posted an image of a smug looking Aaron after he had wound Kevin up and captioned it: "YES KING I love the mental game you are playing rn."(sic)

However, others feared for the popular Dingle's safety with one writing: "Aaron seriously needs to back off and just ignore Robert when he is with Kev from now one. He definitely would murder him given the chance."

Another thought they had noticed a pattern in Robron's relationship penning: "Aaron got stuck in a marriage to John cos he felt obligated after Anthony. Robert activated fight mode and turned everything around. Now Robert is stuck in a marriage to Kev cos he feels obligated after prison. Aaron has now activated fight mode...Parallels."(sic)

Meanwhile a sixth suspected the storyline was simply contrived to get Robron back together opining: "This whole dithering storyline with ants in his pants Kev just seems like one giant filler storyline to get Aaron and Robert back together!"

Kevin met Robert in prison and the pair went on to tie the knot after striking up a romance although Robert kept his marital status hidden from Aaron for months.

While in prison Kevin had saved Robert from repeated violent attacks and he recently qualified for day releases from prison.

During one of the releases he visited Robert and revealed he had a terminal illness.

He then shattered Robert's world when he announced he was being permanently released from prison and moving into the village, just as Robron appeared to be getting back together.

Aaron discovered their relationship and was thrown into his current emotional chaos when he witnessed the pair sharing a kiss.
