Sainsbury's has slashed the prices of more than 500 of its Taste the Difference products in celebration of the premium range's 25-year anniversary. The supermarket is offering 25% off the products for customers that are signed up to Sainsbury's Nectar card membership.
The promotion, which runs until October 7, includes a range of new and popular Taste the Difference products, such as bread and dairy, frozen items, drinks, and sweet treats.
Sainsbury's own-brand range, Taste the Difference, first launched in October 2000 and features more than 1,200 products across 11 categories, such as fresh meats, ready meats, dairy, and deli products.
According to Sainsbury's, the most popular product in the history of the range is Vittoria Cherry Vine Tomatoes. At the same time, the Madagascan Vanilla Custard is the most popular dessert of 2025, after seeing a 30% year-on-year sales increase.
The most popular coffee product in the range is the Taste the Difference Colombian Origin Instant Coffee. In the frozen category, the Valencia Orange Lollies are the best, with a massive 109% year-on-year sales boost.
Rhian Bartlett, Sainsbury's chief commercial and sustainability officer, said: "For 25 years, Taste the Difference has been a trusted favourite in British homes, delivering on its promise to bring quality and flavour to the everyday dining experience without compromising on value."
"With Taste the Difference appearing in a third of our customers' shopping baskets, it's clear the range has become a standout choice and now with over 500 products available at 25% off with Nectar Prices, customers can fill their baskets with delicious delights at a fraction of the cost."
Products on promotion include favourites such as the Taste the Difference Lasagne and Taste the Difference Pistachio & Choc Cookies, as well as baked goods such as sourdough loaves and flatbreads.
Customers registered with the Nectar scheme can scan their app or card at the checkout in store to save, while those shopping online will have the discounts automatically applied if their Nectar and Sainsbury's accounts are linked.
